Nine out of 10 people worldwide breathe polluted air, making it the most important health issue of our time, causing 1 in 9 deaths globally. These are concerning numbers, but luckily we can change them! If we act now together, we can better the air of our planet.

Air pollution is caused by several factors: agriculture, household, industry, transport, and waste are the most important categories according to the United Nations. In all these categories, we can do our part to reduce it. For example by sharing cars, separating waste, planting extra plants or by reducing your energy consumption.

One way to reduce your energy consumption is by switching to LED lighting. It is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to use less energy and help reduce air pollution. Besides the lower energy usage compared to conventional lighting, LED lighting is also fully recyclable, making it an even greener lighting solution.
