The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). Are G9 LED bulbs suitable for use in an oven?
No, you cannot use G9 LEDs as oven light bulbs, even though some ovens do have a G9 fitting. This is because LED technology cannot withstand the heat that the oven emits. In this case, you will have to resort to G9 halogen bulbs.
