PL-C LED Bulbs
With (LED) energy-saving light bulbs there are fittings/lamp bases with 2 pins or 4 pins. Always choose a energy-saving bulb with the same cap/base, otherwise it will not fit in the fixture and will not work. Energy-saving bulbs with a 2-pin base work with a conventional ballast (EM) incl. starter. Energy-saving bulbs with a 4-pin socket work with an electronic ballast (HF) without a starter.
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.

Is it easy to replace a conventional PL-C lamp with a PL-C LED?
Yes, you can easily replace a PL-C energy saving lamp with a PL-C LED lamp one-to-one. There are only three points you need to take into account:
- Choose the right fitting! - This light source has a 2-Pin (G24d-1, G24d-2 or G24d-3) or a 4-Pin (G24q-1, G24q-2 or G24q-3) base. Please note! There is a difference in sizes between the various PL-C variants. This is indicated as 'd' or 'q' including the number 1, 2 or 3 behind the G24 socket. With the correct base, you can install the LED variant in the same way as your old light source.
- Choose the right wattage! - At Any-Lamp, the product title indicates the wattage it replaces, which may be 9W, 10W + 13W, 18W or 26W. You can also filter on this using the filter menu on the left-hand side.
- Please consider the ballast ! - Conventional low-energy light bulbs function properly through the use of a ballast. This is a conventional ballast (EM) for 2-Pin versions and an electronic ballast (HF) for 4-Pin versions. Therefore, ensure that your PL-C LED lamp works with the same ballast.
What are the advantages of a LED PL-C energy-saving lamp?

How do i install this lightsource
After you have switched off the power, you only need to remove the old light source from the fixture. Then you click the PL-C LED lamp into the same fixture. If you have a light source with a rotatable lamp, you can determine the beam direction yourself. Then you switch the power back on, after which you are provided with quality lighting for a long time.
