PL-C LED Bulbs

Philips LED PL-C bulbs are the direct replacers for your traditional PL-C CFL bulbs with 2- and 4-pin sockets from 10 to 26 Watts. PL-C LED bulbs have a life span that is 3 times longer than conventional energy-saving lamps and will last up to 15 years. In addition, you save up to 70% on your energy costs. The replacement is very simple because of the push-in socket and equal dimensions. Energy saving bulbs are often used in places where the lighting is constantly burning, such as: hallways, stairwells, public areas and warehouses. Make sure that the replacement wattage of the new lamp corresponds to the wattage of the old bulb. This prevents a difference in light output.

Is it easy to replace a conventional PL-C lamp with a PL-C LED?

Yes, you can easily replace a PL-C energy saving lamp with a PL-C LED lamp one-to-one. There are only three points you need to take into account:

  1. Choose the right fitting! - This light source has a 2-Pin (G24d-1, G24d-2 or G24d-3) or a 4-Pin (G24q-1, G24q-2 or G24q-3) base. Please note! There is a difference in sizes between the various PL-C variants. This is indicated as 'd' or 'q' including the number 1, 2 or 3 behind the G24 socket. With the correct base, you can install the LED variant in the same way as your old light source.
  2. Choose the right wattage! - At Any-Lamp, the product title indicates the wattage it replaces, which may be 9W, 10W + 13W, 18W or 26W. You can also filter on this using the filter menu on the left-hand side.
  3. Please consider the ballast ! - Conventional low-energy light bulbs function properly through the use of a ballast. This is a conventional ballast (EM) for 2-Pin versions and an electronic ballast (HF) for 4-Pin versions. Therefore, ensure that your PL-C LED lamp works with the same ballast.

What are the advantages of a LED PL-C energy-saving lamp?

The easy change from a conventional to a LED PL-C lamp is not the only advantage that this light source brings. This LED lighting also provides a reduction of 70% in your energy consumption. In addition, when using LED bulbs you do not have to deal with a start-up time, because these light sources burn directly at 100% brightness. In addition, PL-C LED lamps last up to 15 years, which is three to five times longer than the conventional energy saving lamp. When the lifetime of the light source is over, you don't have to worry about the environment. LEDs contain no harmful substances, such as mercury, and are recyclable..

What are PL-C LED lamps used for?

In principle, this light source can be used in any location where there is a fixture with a 2-Pin or 4-Pin G24 fitting. After all, the light source is available in two light colours (3000K - warm white and 4000K - cool white), allowing it to be used in homes and work environments. Read more about the use of a certain light colour here.

PL-C LED lamps are mainly used in retail, hotels, restaurants, offices and houses. Particularly in areas where the lighting is constantly on, such as halls, corridors, stairwells, meeting rooms, canteens, showrooms, warehouses and the like.

What brands does Any-Lamp sell?

How do i install this lightsource

After you have switched off the power, you only need to remove the old light source from the fixture. Then you click the PL-C LED lamp into the same fixture. If you have a light source with a rotatable lamp, you can determine the beam direction yourself. Then you switch the power back on, after which you are provided with quality lighting for a long time.
