GU4 (MR11) LED Bulbs
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).

What are the advantages of GU4 LED bulbs?
GU4 LEDs are spotlights with a plug-in base. They've two pins that are 4 mm apart from each other. This is why the number 4 is in the product name. The designation GU4 is often followed by the suffix MR11. This indicates the shape of the lamp. In this case, it is a "Multifaceted Reflector", which has a diameter of 11 eighths of an inch. Because the bulbs have a GU4 socket, they are very easy to install. Changing from a conventional GU4 low-voltage halogen bulb is very easy thanks to the Plug & Play function.
For which areas are GU4 (MR11) LED spotlights suitable?
GU4 LEDs always have a medium beam angle of 24° to a maximum of 36°. This is ideal for accent lighting in certain areas of a room. For example, product displays or shelves in retail stores can be ideally illuminated. GU4 LED bulbs can also be used in restaurants and hotels to draw guests' attention to special furnishings such as tables.
Do I need a transformer for my GU4 LED?
GU4 bulbs operate on 12 volts and therefore cannot be connected directly to the mains. This applies to both conventional models and LEDs. You therefore need an appropriate transformer to regulate the voltage down in the socket. It is important that the power of the GU4 LEDs does not exceed or fall below the required power of the transformer.
