Ledvance LED Battens
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.
Our all-in warranty is fully included in the product price and covers both hidden defects and technical defects of the product that occurred before delivery. The warranty period differs per product and ranges from 1 year to a maximum of 5 years.

Are all Ledvance LED ceiling lights waterproof?
Some Ledvance LED ceiling lights have low IP protection classes (for example 44 or even only 20). These products are then not suitable for outdoor use or damp rooms. Use our filter function to display the suitable fixtures with a high IP protection class.
What are the product lines?
Compact - The Compact series can be recognised by the dark grey fixture, which is equipped with through-wiring. This has the advantage that you can easily connect the ceiling luminaires with each other. The IP66 housing is equipped with integrated LEDs with 3,000 Kelvin, 4,000 Kelvin or 6,500 Kelvin, making the light source suitable for working environments and general areas in a building with ceiling heights of up to 4 metres. The light output is 5,400 to 6,700 lumens.
GEN2 - The IP65 rated ceiling luminaire is known for its high light output of up to 11,000 lumens and is suitable for ceiling heights of up to 9 metres. In addition, the fixture is IK08 protected and can be used in many environments thanks to the light colours 3,000 Kelvin, 4,000 Kelvin and 6,500 Kelvin. Are you looking for a fixture with additional functions? With DALI, emergency lighting and/or through-wiring, you can easily adapt GEN2 to the needs of any room.
Special GEN2 - This fixture has the highest protection class against water and dust of all Ledvance ceiling luminaires with IP67. In addition, the product line convinces with a modern and slim design. The fixture emits 4,000 Kelvin light as standard, which is evenly distributed in a beam angle of 120°. The light output is 6,500 lumens, making the LED suitable for ceiling heights of up to 4 metres.
Value - With a colour temperature of 4,000 Kelvin, this waterproof ceiling luminaire is perfect for standard working environments, both private and commercial, such as workshops, warehouses, production halls, etc. This is partly due to the different sizes (60 cm, 120 cm and 150 cm) and the associated light output (1,080 to 6,000 lumens), which make the fixture suitable for rooms of different sizes.
Slim Value - The slim housing of this Slim Value ceiling luminaire (35 mm) ensures that this fixture can be easily installed not only on standard ceilings but also on ceilings with partitions, recesses or other height differences. In addition, the mounting clips can be positioned over the entire fixture. The fixture is available in two sizes (120 cm or 150 cm) and in two light colours (4,000 Kelvin and 6,500 Kelvin).
