The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).

Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.

A beam angle indicates the angle of the light beam coming from a light source. The smaller the radiation angle in degrees (D), the narrower the beam angle.

The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.

The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.

Integrated LED technology

This Noxion LED Downlight makes smart use of integrated LED lighting. Because of that, the energy consumption is way less compared to a downlight using conventional lighting. The LED technology is integrated into the fixture itself, you don’t need to buy separate parts to use this fixture.
Lifetime of 50.000 hours
This integrated LED technology has a lifetime of 50.000 hours. This is five times longer compared to PL-L or Dulux lighting. Though this light is more expensive in purchase, the lifetime itself is already a way of earning your money back. Depending on the amount of usage, this can be within 2 years. The first 5 years after your purchase, your products are protected by de Any-Lamp All-in warranty. This means you are sure to be able to earn your money back.

The warm white light of this fixture has a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin. This is a welcoming color, useful in areas like halls or stairs.
IP20: suitable inside
This fixture has an IP rating of 20, it is only applicable inside. The fixture is not water or dust resistant, but perfect for in office buildings, schools or waiting rooms.
