|Average Lifetime (h)
The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|Colour Rendering (Ra)
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|Beam Angle (degree)
A beam angle indicates the angle of the light beam coming from a light source. The smaller the radiation angle in degrees (D), the narrower the beam angle.
|Luminous Flux (Lumen)
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|Lumen per watt
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|Suitable for Outdoor
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.

The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.

The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.

A classic fixture is equipped with 4 fluorescent tubes of 18 watts each, consuming 72 watts of energy. The ballast required to properly operate the tubes consumes 8 watts of energy. A classic fluorescent fixture consumes 80 watts in total. This LED panel uses only 43 watts, saving you 50% in energy costs.

The lifespan of a fluorescent tube is approximately 20,000 hours. The lifetime of a LED panel can go up to 70,000 hours. Philips LED driver included
This Noxion LED panel uses a Philips Xitanium LED driver. This driver is very high-quality for various reasons. The most important reason is the energy efficiency of the driver. The inrush current is very low. When you switch on luminaires, they all provide a very high peak for a very short time. This peak may cause fuses to blow, even if the total wattage consumption after the peak is not too high. The moment of that peak can indeed be too high. A low inrush current ensures that you can connect more luminaires to a fuse box. This driver also has a high power factor. This means that very little reactive current is produced by the luminaire. This is extra energy-efficient and better for the power network. This driver has been specially developed for supermarkets, shops, public spaces, and office spaces. The driver has a long lifetime including warranty.
