|Energy efficiency class||E||
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.
|Energy efficiency class old||A++|
|Average Lifetime (h)||70000|
The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.
|Colour temperature (Kelvin)||4000K - Cool White||
Light colour is also known as colour temperature and is expressed in Kelvin (K). You can choose from:
|Colour Code||840 Cool White||
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|Colour Rendering (Ra)||80-89||
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|Beam Angle (degree)||120||
A beam angle indicates the angle of the light beam coming from a light source. The smaller the radiation angle in degrees (D), the narrower the beam angle.
|Luminous Flux (Lumen)||4000||
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|Lumen per watt||100||
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|Suitable for Outdoor||No|
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
|Impact Protection (IK)||IK04||
The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.
|Installation Depth (mm)||100|
|Product Type Category||LED Panel||
This filter allows you to refine your search by selecting specific types of light sources. Choose from options such as LED bulbs, LED tubes, or LED spots to find the perfect lighting solution for your needs.
The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.
|Unified Glare Rating||< 22||
The Unified Glare Rating (UGR) indicates the extent to which the light of a product is blinding. This value differs per application and must comply with European standards (EN 12464-1). A low UGR value stands for a low glare factor. For offices and schools lighting with a UGR<19 value is mandatory and for public areas UGR<22.
|Operating Temperature||-10 to +40|
|Emergency Lighting||No Emergency Unit||
Lighting with a built-in emergency lighting unit (battery) continues to burn for a certain time if the power fails.
|Colour of the Fixture||White|
|LED panel size||120x30cm||
The most common sizes of LED panels are 60x60cm (square) and 30x120cm (rectangular). These are standard sizes for almost all suspended ceilings. There are also various other dimensions available, such as 20x120cm or 15x150cm.
It may happen that the length of this product differs from your old lighting fixture. As a result, the product does not fit in your current fixture or in the relevant place.

Energy saving up to 50%
A traditional fixture has 2x36 watts fluorescent tubes, and therefore consumes 72 watts of energy. The ballast that is needed to power the fluorescent tubes adds an additional 8 watts. So your old fixture uses 80 watts in total. This LED Panel uses only 40 watts, so you save 50% on the energy costs throughout the entire 20 year lifespan.
Payback period: 2 years
Suppose that the light is on for 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. You could expect to pay around 60 GBP per year using a traditional fluorescent fixture compared to only 30 GBP when using this LED panel. So after 2 years you have already earned back the initial investment in this LEDpanel, and then you actually earnback 30 GBP over the next 18 years. So that's no less than 540 GBP per panel over the entire life span. You are then insured than you have earned back the payback time within the warranty period.
Lifetime: 70,000 hours (more than 20 years)
The lifespan of a fluorescent tube is up to 20,000 hours. A LED panel will last up to 70,000 hours. A short calculation: your panels are on 12 hours a day 5 days a week. That is 60 hours a week. 60 hours x 52 weeks is 3120 hours per year. That is more than 20 years before you reach 70,000 hours!
Light output guaranteed for entire lifetime
With traditional fluorescent tubes, the light output is reduced after +/- 10,000 hours. With these Noxion LED panels. the light output is guaranteed because the panel complies to set European directives and is made of high quality components.
Cool white - 4000K (kelvin)
The color 4000K stands for cool white light. This is light that is typically used in offices and places where people need to be productive. The cool white light will keep you awake and focussed..
Ultra thin design
The LED panel is ultra thin and it fits perfectly in a standard ceiling, 60x60 cm. This combination makes the installation very user friendly. There is no need to change your current ceiling to accommodate the new panel.
A fluorescent fixture is expensive to maintain due to the short lifespan of the tubes and the spare parts that needs to be periodically replaced,such as the starters and the ballast. Noxion LED panels are maintenance-free, with no need to replace spare parts and a light output which stays constant throughout the panels lifetime.
This fixture is 'flicker free', so there are no flashes visible in the light image. Some people are very sensitive to the glare produced by traditional fluorescent tubes, which can have side effects such as headaches, fatigue or sleep deprivation. A fluorescent beam flashes 50 times per second; while this is not perceptible to the naked eye, your brain is very sensitive and can detect these flashes. This LED panel doesn’t flash at all, so your employees stay awake and productive all day long without a headache.
UGR lower than 22, suitable for halls, corridors and general areas
The Noxion Panel Standard has a low glare degree with a UGR value of less than 22, meaning that the light doesn’t beam directly into your eyes and you aren’t blinded by it. This guarantees visual comfort and makes the fixture suitable for use in commonly used general areas such as halls, canteens and corridors. This LED panel isn’t suitable for usage in the office; in offices, a LED panel with a UGR value of less than 19 is required.
