The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. In Ireland, B22 (Bayonet) caps/bases are still the most popular, although E27 (Edison screw) caps/bases are becoming increasingly popular. GU10 is the most common cap/base for spotlights. The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). Presentation
The Osram Lumilux T8 lamps are fluorescent tubes of 26mm of diameter. They replace standard color TL tubes (Osram Basic T8). These tubes give 30% more light for the same quantity of energy than T8 standard lamps. They are supplied with a G13-type holder and measure 90 cm. The Osram T8 L 30W/830 Lumilux Warm White G13 have a warm light with a color temperature of 3000K. Color rendering index is, by the way, excellent, superior to 80Ra. The range is in energy efficiency class A, so they are very energy saving. Their lifetime is very long, 20000 hours on average.
