The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). Osram POWERSTAR HQI-E bulbs are high pressure discharge lamps, with metal halides quartz burner. These high performant lamps furnish a very intense luminous flux. They are supplied with a E27-type holder that will allow them to be easily uninstalled from your fixtures and they have a frosted finish. Osram Powerstar HQI-E 100W/WDL E27 Frosted lamps have a lifetime of 9000 hours to avoid you frequent replacements. Lamps emit a white and hot light (3000K) to allow you create a seductive ambiance. The color-rendering index is by the way excellent, superior to 90Ra.
Use
Osram Powerstar HQI-E 100W/WDL E27 Frosted lamps are perfectly adapted to light big areas (shopping centers, exhibitions, fairs, big shops) as well as for outdoor lighting of streets, pedestrian areas, gardens or parks for example. Warning! This range function on a ballast. Lamps have to be replaced within closed fixtures.
