Osram T5 Lumilux
What are the differences between Osram Lumilux T5 fluorescent tubes?
Osram Lumilux T5 FH HE - The Osram Lumilux T5 HE are highly efficient fluorescent tubes with low energy consumption and high luminous efficacy. They can be used in combination with an electronic ballast. In addition, these tubes are dimmable. Osram Lumilux T5 HE have an average life of 24,000 hours. They are available in various colour temperatures.
Osram Basic T5 L - Osram Basic T5 L are fluorescent tubes that are particularly efficient in consumption thanks to their low wattage. They have a colour rendering index of 60-69 Ra and are available in different lengths and with different colour temperatures.
Osram Lumilux T5 FQ HO - Osram Lumilux T5 HO are fluorescent tubes with very low energy consumption and very high luminous efficacy (HO = high output). The tubes have a G5 base. This means that the two pins have a distance of 5 mm from each other. The Lumilux tubes require a ballast. If you use a conventional ballast, you also need a starter. If you use an electronic ballast, no additional starter is necessary. With a suitable ballast, you can also dim the light. The tubes have a long service life of 24,000 hours on average.
Osram Basic G5 Lumilux - The Osram Basic fluorescent tubes from the Lumilux Basic G5 series come in two colour temperatures (extra warm white and warm white) and with a high colour rendering index of 80-89 Ra.
Osram Lumilux T5 FQ HO De Luxe - High luminous efficacy and the highest colour rendering level - this is what characterises the Osram T5 fluorescent tubes from the FQ HO De Luxe series. Thanks to the highest colour rendering level of 90-99 Ra, colours appear particularly natural under the light influence of the product. This makes them ideal for use in supermarkets. The tubes are available in various lengths and wattages.
Osram Lumilux T5 HO ES - Whether in the workshop, warehouse or car park - these T5 fluorescent tubes from Osram can be used flexibly. They also impress with a high colour rendering level of 80-89 Ra.
Note: Osram T5 fluorescent tubes are phased out and no longer produced. Further information and LED alternatives can be found here.
