Osram G4 & GU4 (MR11) Parathom
Osram Parathom G4 and GU4 LED light sources are replacers for G4 and GU4 conventional light sources. These small bulbs fit in locations that have very little space to fit a light source. The LED version is designed to replace these conventional light sources 1-on-1, you don't have to make any adjustments to your fixture. However, please check de exact measurements of the LED lights, since they might slightly differ from your conventional light source. The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? Which Osram G4 model series are available?
In contrast to the classic Parathom Pin products, the Micro version is smaller. However, the service life (15,000 hours) and the number of lumens (100) are the same for both versions. The wattages are also very similar.
Which Osram GU4 model series are available?
Osram only offers the Parathom GU4 MR11 series. However, the product range is large and you have the choice between different wattages, colour temperatures and lumens. In addition, some products have a dimming function.
