|Energy efficiency class||E||
The European Union has drawn up guidelines for energy labels for lighting. The energy efficiency of bulbs and luminaires is expressed in classes (A to G). Energy label A is the most efficient and energy label G the least. The energy label is also stated on the packaging of a product.
|Energy efficiency class old||A+|
The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.
|Colour temperature (Kelvin)||3000K - Warm White||
Light colour is also known as colour temperature and is expressed in Kelvin (K). You can choose from:
|Colour Code||830 - Warm White||
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|Colour Rendering (Ra)||80-89||
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|Light Output (Lumen)||1336||
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|Luminous Efficacy (Lm/W)||95||
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|Optical Cover||PC (Polycarbonate)|
|Fixture Connection||SI [Screw connection block]|
|Suitable for Outdoor||Yes|
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
|Impact Protection (IK)||IK08||
The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.
|Operating Temperature||-20 till + 50|
|Colour of the Fixture||Black|
Lighting with a built-in emergency lighting unit (battery) continues to burn for a certain time if the power fails.
It may happen that the length of this product differs from your old lighting fixture. As a result, the product does not fit in your current fixture or in the relevant place.
Lighting with a sensor or twilight switch only lights up when it receives a certain signal. This reduces energy costs. The (built-in) sensors react to darkness and/or movement.

Broad application area
This fixture is available with a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin, which is a warm white light. This color is used in many locations, like in halls, stairs or as outdoor lighting at your garage or front door.
Even light diffusion
The reflective white plate and diffuse bowl provide for excellent light diffusion, lighting up areas with lower lighting levels.
Suitable for outdoor usage
The IP and IK rating of a light source indicate how water- and vandalism proof it is. This fixture has an IP value of 54, which means it is dust- and splash waterproof is. This means you can use the fixture outdoors, but you cannot place in on totally open places since the fixture won’t stand heavy rains. The IK rating indicates how firm a fixture is. The IK rating has a range from 1 to 10. This fixture has a 08 rating, so it can stand quite some shocks.
Recommended application height
For this fixture, the recommended application height is 3 to 5 meters. The lumen output is high enough to still light up until the ground at this height. Do you want to place this fixture under 3 meters? Take a look at the Philips CoreLine BWC110, a smaller version with less lumen output.
