The Philips Infrared range of specialist infrared bulbs can be separated into two specific categories; Industrial Heat applications, and Healthcare.

Philips Industrial Heat

The Philips Industrial Heat range is designed to be robust and durable enough to withstand impacts and will not shatter upon breakage, and are therefore safe enough for use in agriculture, animal care and food preparation areas. Available in both BR125, R125 and PAR38 lamp shapes, and with a clear or with a red filter, the Industrial Heat range includes a sealed reflector to direct heat towards the front of the bulb for optimum efficiency.

Philips Healthcare Heat

The Philips Healthcare Heat range can be used in conjunction with heat therapy equipment to treat bodily ailments and sports injuries, improve healing time and alleviate pain. These highly specialised bulbs are designed to penetrate the top layers of the skin with a gentle warming effect, and are fully dimmable and feature a sealed reflector so the heat can be directed to target problem areas. The R95 shape creates a soft distribution of light with no harsh shadow, while the PAR38 option ensures that warmth is distributed in a narrow beam angle.
