This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
|
Wattage | 21.5 |
i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
|
Dimmable | Not Dimmable |
i
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

Cap / Base | G13 |
i
The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. In Ireland, B22 (Bayonet) caps/bases are still the most popular, although E27 (Edison screw) caps/bases are becoming increasingly popular. GU10 is the most common cap/base for spotlights. Check which cap/base you need carefully as many other types are also available.

Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |
i
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 3700 |
i
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Lumen per watt | 172.1 |
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.

Description Philips LED Tube T8 MASTER (EM/Mains) Ultra Efficiency 21.5W 3700lm - 840 Cool White | 150cm - Replaces 58W
The Philips LEDtube EM UO 21.5W 840 150cm (MASTER) | Cool white - incl. LED Starter - Replaces 58W is the perfect alternative to a standard 58W fluorescent tube in fixtures with Conventional (EM) ballast. With this LED tube you are guaranteed a very long life and 5 years Any-Lamp warranty.
When you switch to LED tubes, it is important that you check the length and wattage of your current fluorescent lamp. This 21.5W LED TL is the replacement for a conventional 58W fluorescent tube with a length of 1500mm. This TL saves up to about 75% energy costs compared to a standard fluorescent tube.
This product has a lifespan of 60000 hours. In an average business environment, this light therefore lasts more than 15 years (52 weeks per year, 10 hours per day from Monday to Friday). The lifetime is much longer than a standard TL, which only burns 10,000 hours.
The diameter is equal to a normal fluorescent tube: 26mm. The light color is 4000K - Cool white, also known as color code 840. That makes this LED fluorescent light suitable for illuminating company halls, parking garages and workplaces.
Installation is easy and you can easily do it yourself:
- You turn off the power
- You turn your current fluorescent tube out of the fixture
- You turn the new LED TL into the fixture
- You switch on the power and save directly on your energy costs!
