The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.

The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).

When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. In Ireland, B22 (Bayonet) caps/bases are still the most popular, although E27 (Edison screw) caps/bases are becoming increasingly popular. GU10 is the most common cap/base for spotlights. Check which cap/base you need carefully as many other types are also available.

Because you can set the direction of the light yourself, a rotatable LED tube is extra efficient with energy. Moreover, the light does not shine around 360 degrees unnecessarily, as is the case with conventional fluorescent tubes.

Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |

The light color indicates the color of the light emitted: white, colored, or UV. For many products in our assortment, the light is white, available in a range from very warm white to daylight white (expressed in Kelvin). With colored light, you have two options: 1. A single fixed color, such as red or green. 2. RGBW, which means you can adjust the light color at any time: white or colored.

The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 3900 |
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 150 |

This filter allows you to refine your search by selecting specific types of light sources. Choose from options such as LED bulbs, LED tubes, or LED spots to find the perfect lighting solution for your needs.

You need a LED starter if the fluorescent lighting in your current fixture also contains a starter. In that case, you have a fixture with a conventional ballast (EM). A LED starter replaces your current starter and ensures that a LED tube works.
|
LED Starter included | No |
Requires Ballast | Yes | |
i
A ballast can be seen as an energy regulator that switches on the lighting. Is there a starter in the fixture? Then this is a conventional ballast (EM). Fixtures with an electronic ballast (HF) don't have a starter. A LED driver can be compared to an electronic ballast and only works with LED lighting.

Description Philips LED Tube T5 MASTER (HF) High Output 26W 3900lm - 865 Daylight | 115cm - Replaces 54W
Philips LED tube T5 HF HO 26W 865 115cm (MASTER) | Daylight - Replaces 54W is the perfect alternative to a standard 54W TL5 tube in lighting fixtures with electronic ballast. With this LED TL5 tube you are guaranteed a long life and 5 years Any-Lamp warranty.
When you switch to LED tubes, it is important that you check the length and wattage of your current fluorescent lamp. This 26W LED TL is the replacement for a conventional 54W fluorescent tube with a length of 1450mm. This TL saves up to about 70% energy costs compared to a standard T5 tube.
This product has a lifespan of 50000 hours. In an average business environment, this lamp therefore lasts more than 15 years (52 weeks per year, 10 hours per day from Monday to Friday). The lifetime is much longer than a standard TL, which only burns 24,000 hours. Of course you have a 5 year Any-Lamp all-in warranty.
The diameter is equal to a normal TL5 tube: 16mm. The light color is 6500K - Daylight, also known as color code 865 - Daylight. That makes this LED fluorescent light suitable for illuminating company halls, parking garages and workshops.
The installation of LED TL tubes is very easy. All LED tubes are ‘plug and play’, this means that you can easily install them yourself and replace them 1 to 1 with your current TL tubes. If you are in doubt whether you are authorized to do so, always contact a certified installer. Always follow the rules for installing electrical devices.
- You turn off the power
- You turn your current fluorescent tube out of the fixture
- You turn the new LED TL into the fixture
- You switch on the power and save directly on your energy costs!
