A ballast can be seen as an energy regulator that switches on the lighting. Is there a starter in the fixture? Then this is a conventional ballast (EM). The Philips LEDtube UN UO 24W 830 150cm (MASTER) | Daylight - Replaces 58W. Philips Universal tubes are suitable for all fixtures, due to their modern multifunctional driver technology. UN tubes can be applied on HF and EM ballasts or can be installed directly on the mains.
When you switch to LED tubes, it is important that you check the length and wattage of your current fluorescent lamp. This 24W LED TL is the replacement for a conventional 58W fluorescent tube with a length of 1500mm. This TL saves up to about 70% energy costs compared to a standard fluorescent tube.
This product has a lifespan of 50000 hours. In an average business environment, this light therefore lasts more than 15 years (52 weeks per year, 10 hours per day from Monday to Friday). The lifetime is much longer than a standard TL, which only burns 10,000 hours.
The diameter is equal to a normal fluorescent tube: 26mm. The light color is 3000K - warm white, also known as color code 830. That makes this LED fluorescent light suitable for illuminating company halls, schools and hallways.
Installation is easy and you can easily do it yourself:
- You turn off the power
- You turn your current fluorescent tube out of the fixture
- You turn the new LED TL into the fixture
- You switch on the power and save directly on your energy costs!
