The Philips PL-T GX24q 4P is a highly efficient compact fluorescent lamp that provides substantially more light (approx. 15%) than other similar designs. These lamps also use Philips bridge technology therefore an optimum performance is ensured.
Philips PL-T GX24q 4P Features
The Philips PL-T lamp has a GX24q plug in, 4 pin socket fitting. This socket fitting is available in with 5 different layouts (GX24q-1, GX24q-2, GX24q-3, GX24q-4, GX24q-5) which is determined by the wattage.
These lamps also require the use of an electronic ballast.
- Long lifetime: 13,000 hours
- High colour rendering: 80-89Ra, meaning colours appear as they should in the light
- Dimmable: To 10% of the total light output.
- Fast Startup.
Application: The PL-T GX24q 4P is intended for areas where it will be switched on for long periods of time. As a result of this they are often used in places such as restaurants, shops and offices; for general or supplementary lighting purposes. They can also be used for emergency lighting or in indoor and outdoor fixtures.
How to choose the right Philips PL-T GX24q 4P Lamp?
As previously mentioned, it is very important that you do not change the wattage of you lamps as this relates to both the dimensions and the socket fitting. If you do, then the layout of the pins and size will be different; and consequently may not fit into your fixtures. These bulbs also require the use of a ballast, which will not work if the wattage is changed.
