How does solar lighting work?
Solar lighting works thanks to the sun. A solar product always needs the sun's energy to shine. These products are equipped with a built-in module, which absorbs the light of the sun. This is converted into electrical energy and stored in the battery of the solar outdoor light. As soon as it gets dark, the stored energy is fed to the light(s). If there is a sensor (twilight detection) in the light, the functionality of the lighting automatically changes and the light comes on.

Below, we have listed a number of important points for you to consider.
- The solar light must receive enough daylight (direct sunlight).
- The module of the solar light should preferably face south.
- Do not place solar outdoor lighting under a roof, a tree or in the shade.
- The module of the solar lighting must be clean in order to function optimally.
How long does it take for solar lighting to be fully charged?
Do you want to know how quickly a solar light is fully charged? That has to do with a number of factors. Of course, the number of sun hours plays an important role. The more the sun shines, the faster the solar energy is absorbed by the solar module. The content of the module also plays a role, because one battery can absorb more than another.
