What characterises the Steinel brand?
What immediately stands out is that all Steinel lighting is equipped with a sensor. These are mostly outdoor luminaires and separate sensors. A Steinel outdoor light is great for providing the right light for grounds, gardens, courtyards and driveways. After all, you decide when and how you want the light to switch on: twilight relay and/or motion detector. A Steinel outdoor light is suitable for floor or wall mounting. Several of these luminaires are also solar-powered, so you can tap into the power of the sun.
Why is Steinel XLED Home 2 so popular?
In short, the flexible nature of this LED floodlight with infrared motion detector (max. 10 metres range). The opal LED panel can be rotated 180° to direct the light upwards, forwards and downwards. The Steinel XLED Home 2 gives any area around a house or business premises a warm appearance (3000K light). In addition, you can set the burn time (8 sec. to 35 min.) as desired and select daylight mode (motion lighting) or twilight mode (motion lighting in the dark (approx. 2 lux daylight).
What are the features of a Steinel motion sensor?
This type of Steinel sensor can be used indoors and/or outdoors: IP54 or IP20; outside preferably in a protected location; IP54 is only splash-proof. You place a Steinel motion detector via ceiling or wall mounting, where the maximum installation height varies between 3 and 6 metres. When installing, you determine how long the light should be switched on for motion detection: a few seconds to several minutes. By default, it is set to daylight mode (light when motion is detected), but you can also switch to twilight mode (you only switch on when it is too dark; ambient light is lower than ... lux).
