The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.
Our all-in warranty is fully included in the product price and covers both hidden defects and technical defects of the product that occurred before delivery. The warranty period differs per product and ranges from 1 year to a maximum of 5 years.
What are the differences between Osram Lumilux T8 fluorescent tubes?
Osram Lumilux T8 - The classic among the fluorescent tubes convince with a long service life, a high colour rendering level and a dimming function. All Osram Lumilux T8 tubes are dimmable and require a ballast. We recommend an electronic ballast as no additional starter is required. The average life of T8 tubes is 20,000 hours. If they are lit for 60 hours a week, for example, they will provide light for up to six years. With a CRI value of 80-89 Ra, these products also have a high Colour Rendering Index and good colour rendering.
Osram Lumilux T8 De Luxe - The Osram T8 Lumilux tubes from the De Luxe series feature the highest colour rendering index (90-99 Ra), a long life (16,000 hours) and a dimming function. The fluorescent tubes are available in many colour temperatures and can therefore be used in different application areas - always where colour rendering plays an important role (for example supermarkets, shops or in industry).
Osram Natura T8 - Under the light of Osram Natura T8 fluorescent tubes, food looks particularly fresh and appetising. This is due to the specially adapted spectral light distribution. Possible areas of application are therefore bakeries, butchers and supermarkets. The tubes are available with different colour temperatures and lengths.
