If you have an IP44 (splash-proof) fixture in your hands, you can also place it in bathrooms and other areas with sanitary facilities. The tiltable ceiling-mounted fixtures with spots have a GU10 base, so you can decide for yourself which light color your room needs. The design of the Nordlux spots offers various options. From a neutral white recessed spot to a cool black fixture that makes a statement in your interior. Many of these lamp spots can be dimmed with a (LED) dimmer behind your light switch; a dimmable GU10 spot is required for the fixtures that are supplied without a light source. The Nordlux Alec, on the other hand, is equipped with a built-in 3-step Moodmaker dimmer, with which you can choose 100% brightness, 50% brightness, or night light. The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? Stake - The Nordlux spots from the model series Stake are characterised by a modern round design and indirect lighting. The products can be dimmed with an external dimmer. In addition, a parallel connection with up to 15 spots is possible.
Alec - If you are looking for glare-free lighting, the Alec spots are the ideal solution. The products also come with the three-stage Moodmaker™ dimmer. This can be easily operated via the regular light switch. With the dimming function, you have three different options to set the right light: the main light to 50 %, 100 % or only the outer light ring, which also functions perfectly as a night light. The built-in memory function remembers your last setting. Thanks to the IP44 protection class, the Nordlux spots from the Alec collection are suitable for bathrooms or other damp rooms.
